Bailiffgate Museum shop specialises in books about the local history and culture of our amazing region. 

You can secure the items you desire by ordering online if you wish, or have them delivered to your home or anywhere in mainland UK as a gift. 

As well as the online store below, the shop itself is open all museum hours with an even wider selection . It offers visitors and passers-by an amazing range of books, maps, gifts, toys and DVD’s. Most of these relate to the North Northumberland area.

Many items we hold are difficult or even impossible to find anywhere else. You don’t have to pay a museum entrance fee to visit the shop so make sure you come and see for yourself what’s on offer the next time you are in Alnwick. We have gifts and souvenirs for all ages and tastes at affordable prices. Such as:

· A 2025 calendar featuring  amazing pictures of Old Alnwick from the Bailiffgate archives. 

· Moving children’s titles by Hilary Robinson like Where the Poppies Now Grow, The Christmas Truce, Flo of the Somme and Peace Lily.

· A range of the very popular Little People Big Dreams books featuring Jane Goodall, Marie Curie, Maya Angelou, David Attenborough among others.

Lions of the North, a history of the Percys by the current Duke of Northumberland himself, plus now also his second book " Lions of the Red Rose". One (or both!) would make a wonderful Christmas gift for anyone who loves history/family history.
