The Bathing House at Howick

£15.00

The Bathing House at Howick is a stunning building in a unique location. Built by Charles 2nd Earl Grey for his children to sea bathe from, it has also been known as Jenny Patterson’s Cottage, Miss Henderson’s Cottage and Christie’s House.  Updated many times, the building still preserves its original  attractive character.

Jennifer Teulon has spent 3 years researching the fascinating history of this house over a 200 year timespan.

This is a beautifully illustrated landscape A4 sized book which touches on a whole range of people who have chosen to live enjoying a truly remarkable view in one of the most special parts of the UK.
