Angels of the North-MORE Notable Women of the North East

£20.00

Authors: Joyce Quinn and Moira Kilkenny

239 pages with colour and b/w illustrations

The original Angels of the North highlighted a  wide range of women from the North East, both household names and those less-publicised heroines  those who deserve not to be forgotten.

This second volume, More notable women of the North East is packed with 35 others whose amazing stories either deserve to be more widely understood, or which risked being lost in the mists of time. Their courage and innovation is equally remarkable, and this book is also set to become a local best-seller.
