Save 10% off your Entry Costs

Save 10% off our normal entry price when pre-booking. Note that you can visit on any one available* day in your selected month, so your booking is totally flexible to suit the weather and your other plans. The 10% reduction is offered for all priced categories of tickets; adult, concession and children 5-16.  (Children under 5 are, of course free already). Simply select the ticket(s) you need over all visitor categories below, choose the month that you will be visiting, and pay for your total basket. When you arrive you can simply show our confirmation email on your phone, or bring a paper print-off and come straight in to enjoy all our three exhibition floors.

.

Note this offer is valid for ONE visit during the selected month. If you are likely to want to visit for free on any number of occasions throughout the year to view our changing exhibitions (and get invited to special previews and other benefits) , we suggest you save even more by checking out the option of  becoming a Friend of Bailiffgate.

It is entirely up to you, but if you are a UK taxpayer and you wish to then make the museum a donation of that 60p  which you saved for adult entry, the government Gift Aid scheme allows us to turn that 60p into a very useful £ 2.10 which we can use to maintain and improve the museum and its collections. Just select “Please add Gift Aid”. If you do not wish to, simply say “No Thanks”. We will be delighted to see you whichever you choose!  Full Gift Aid Terms are here if required.

  • Bailiffgate opening times are Tuesday to Saturday, and Bank Holiday  Mondays 10am to 4pm.  Sunday opening times 11 am – 4 pm.
  • Please note that we are happy to welcome any well-behaved dogs on leads to Bailiffgate Museum & Gallery, especially our permanent Museum displays. However, there are certain times or temporary exhibitions in the gallery that are off-limits to dogs, e.g., if there is a school group visit, if textile wall hangings reach near to floor level or there are toys and games/ costumes at floor level. In those instances, we ask visitors with dogs to take turns to visit the upstairs gallery. If a visitor is alone with a dog, and the museum is not busy, some of our volunteers are happy to look after small dogs behind the front desk for a short time.
