Museum Coordinator
Bailiffgate Museum & Gallery (Bailiffgate) in Alnwick, Northumberland is looking to recruit a Museum Coordinator who
can work with volunteers and the community to support its business process, conduct day to day administration in its current location
and provide administrative support for the Transition & Programme Manager who is working on a major project to move Bailiffgate and create an innovative cultural space for the community in Northumberland Hall in the heart of Alnwick.

The successful person will be an experienced administrator who is self-motivated, highly professional and a completer finisher

- Salary: £15 per hour
- Contract type: Fixed Term 40 hours a week
Monday - Saturday - Start date: As soon as possible following

Volunteer Co-ordinator ‘People Make Alnwick’
Bailiffgate Museum & Gallery (Bailiffgate) in Alnwick, Northumberland is looking to recruit an enthusiastic, experienced and highly organised Volunteer Coordinator to deliver the next stage of our exciting project
which has been successfully funded by the Community Fund.

For the right candidate this could be a 2–4-year programme if successful.
Delivery will involve focussing on driving our Volunteer Strategy and growing our volunteer workforce, working with partners and the community, creating an innovative programme to attract, develop and upskill potential volunteers, work placements and employment opportunities to the museum and local businesses.
This is an opportune time to join Bailiffgate to deliver this exciting aspect of this creative project at a time of significant growth for us.
The successful person will be self-motivated, highly professional with a strong reputation for achieving outstanding results in a timely way. The volunteer coordinator will have the support of a part-time administration

- Location: Bailiffgate, Alnwick, Northumberland
- Salary: 3 days per week paid on a daily rate, max £150 per day.
- Contract type: Fixed - delivered between October 2025 and September 2027 in the first instance.
- Start date: 1 st October 2025 or earlier depending on notice to be given.
