We recently received an email from a lovely gentleman called Jack, giving feedback from a visit that he and his party of friends made to Northumbria. Within his email was a link to an amazing musical video titled “Northumbria Calling” which features their time at Bailiffgate very heavily. I think you will enjoy it. Beware though, as Jack’s animation of our characters takes you by surprise!

“I used the word ‘scratcher’ for ‘bed’ as I learned it from one of your interactive displays! I would have employed more of the local dialectal terms but I didn’t take a photo to aid my memory. As I said, we had a wonderful time in your stunning museum. As a former teacher, I particularly loved the oral histories and textual print-outs. I’m a nerd so animating still photos is something I have experimented with from time to time. Your three life size models were perfect!!!!”
