We recently received an email from a lovely gentleman called Jack, giving feedback from a visit that he and his party of friends made to Northumbria. Within his email was a link to an amazing musical video titled “Northumbria Calling” which features their time at Bailiffgate very heavily. I think you will enjoy it. Beware though, as Jack’s animation of our characters takes you by surprise!
“We visited you as part of our annual Bus Pass Challenge and we enjoyed your museum no end. Some excellent exhibits. The tech displays and the oral histories were my favourite. We bought a couple of things from your gift shop too. Hope you have won lots of awards for your enterprise and endeavour! Much appreciated. I shot a short video of our bus trip and included you in the process. Hope you like it”:
“I used the word ‘scratcher’ for ‘bed’ as I learned it from one of your interactive displays! I would have employed more of the local dialectal terms but I didn’t take a photo to aid my memory. As I said, we had a wonderful time in your stunning museum. As a former teacher, I particularly loved the oral histories and textual print-outs. I’m a nerd so animating still photos is something I have experimented with from time to time. Your three life size models were perfect!!!!”
Many thanks.
Regards
Jack
