I suspect all of us have a tale of when things went disastrously wrong, either when we were a child being taken on a family holiday or as the adult doing the taking. The sort of thing that was far from funny at the time, but in hindsight is hilarious.
The 2022 major summer exhibition in Bailiffgate will be “Beside the Seaside”. In addition to all the fascinating exhibits that the Collections team are preparing, Alnwick Family History branch aims to display a fun collection of family traumas. We would love to have your story-it does not have to be long, half an A4 page or less is enough- although more is fine if you want to wax lyrical. We will present them anonymously, so don’t be afraid to bring out anything you may have kept behind closed doors up to now!
