Space expert Ralph Dinsley will explore the benefits associated from the use of near Earth orbits, the issue of space debris and the need for greater management of space traffic around the earth.

Come and enjoy this stimulating talk at a time when space exploration and exploitation has never been more topical.

There are two sittings of the talk available, at 4pm and at 7.30pm in Bailiffgate Museum and Gallery -both on Saturday 25th April. The talk will last approximately 45 minutes, with the option for questions at the end.

Prices are £15 for adults, and £10 for for those between 16-21 years and Friends of the Museum*. There are only 25 seats available for each talk, so immediate booking is recommended .

 

Note : This talk is not recommended for those under 16, and payment is required for anyone under this age, at the 16-21 year rate.

Ralph Dinsley is a Royal Air Force veteran with 26 years in space surveillance and situational awareness. He  leads organisation  3S Northumbria. A strong advocate for space sustainability, he aims to promote a circular space economy in North East England. On weekends he enjoys family time, golf, watching Leeds United, his Harley Davidson and rock gigs.
