Bailiffgate Museum & Gallery (Bailiffgate) in Alnwick, Northumberland is seeking to recruit an enthusiastic, experienced, and highly organised Transition & Programme Manager to deliver our exciting new project which has been successfully funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund.
This is initially a six-month development project with the potential to be part of the delivery phase of our move to Northumberland Hall. To lead the development stage of this project co-ordinating the work of consultants, working with trustees and volunteers to ensure the implementation of activities to the highest quality in each strand of the development stage of this project. It is an opportune time to join Bailiffgate to lead and deliver this exciting creative project at a time of significant growth for us. The successful person will be self-motivated, highly professional with a strong reputation for achieving outstanding results in a timely way.
Location: home based and at Bailiffgate, Alnwick, Northumberland
Salary: 10 days per month paid on a daily rate max £300.
Contract type: Fixed - delivered between June 2024 and December 2024

Administrative Assistant
Administrative Assistant ‘This is Alnwick’ - Heritage at the Heart of the Community.

Bailiffgate Museum & Gallery (Bailiffgate) in Alnwick, Northumberland is seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and highly organised Administrative Assistant to support the delivery of our exciting new project which has been successfully funded by the Community Fund.
This is a initially a 12 month project with potential to be up to 5 year programme if successful. The role will support the Project Manager with the project which will focus on working with partners and the community, creating an innovative and creative programme to attract, develop and upskill potential volunteers, work placements and employment opportunities to the museum and local businesses.
It is an opportune time to join Bailiffgate at a time of significant growth for us. The successful person will be self-motivated, highly organised, personable person with excellent IT and social media skills. Great attention to detail, a willingness to learn and the ability to be flexible and adaptable.
Location: home based and at Bailiffgate, Alnwick, Northumberland
Salary: 4 days (28 hours) per week salary £12.50 per hour
Contract type: initially 12 months with a 6 month probationary period but the potential to be a 5 year project.
