Loans Box – Pre WW2 Domestic Life
£0.00 – £15.00
Loans Box : 15 Pre WW2 Domestic Life
KS 2
Subjects: History, Science, Literacy
Life before WW2 was inevitably affected by the residue of WW1. Millions of men had to find their way back from war into civilian life in often difficult circumstances; societies were hollowed out, and living standards were still very basic for the vast majority of the population. People had to “Make do and Mend”- an example being the home craft of making Proggy Mats from odds and ends of clothing instead of being able to buy any rug or carpet.
