We Remember Them Still

Many think of war graves as only being in foreign fields. In fact there are over 300,000 fallen  from WW1 and WW2 buried or commemorated across the UK, in over 13, 000 locations.  Alnwick cemetery holds a higher number than average, commemorating men who served in theatres of war all over the world.

This fascinating book brings out their stories, and includes some amazing tales. For example, how an Alnwick DSO holder gave  part of Baron Richthofen’s aero engine to Britain’s war effort in WW2!

Paperback , 60 Pages , colour plus b/w.
