My last art exhibition was just before Christmas 2019, with another one being in a bar since lockdown. This and the restrictions throughout the year gave me no momentum to paint.

Hopefully 2021 will start to come back to some normality for us all. This hope has given me the motivation to start painting again. I have been speaking to Jo Hume about painting with cold wax and we made some using bees wax and various other ingredients. For this exhibition I used this medium. These paintings are a collection of my favourite quiet areas of beautiful Northumberland interpreted in an abstract style. I hope you enjoy my art.
