Talk: Coquetdale Wills Project Tue 4th June 2019 7.30pm
The Northumberland and Durham Family History Society Wills Project is a huge, voluntary exercise to make the ancient wills recorded in Northumberland available online. It will be a huge benefit to many of those researching their ancestors. Douglas Burdon, Head of the Project will tell us all about it, and especially progress made in the Alnwick and Coquetdale area where over 36,000 different names have been indexed.
Members of the NDFHS, including its Alnwick branch enjoy a range of benefits to help them discover more about their ancestors and hence who they “really are”. This includes access to a wide range of excellent speakers on Family History-related issues and events
All evening meetings are on the FIRST TUESDAY of the month. They begin at 7.15pm with refreshments in Bailiffgate Museum, Alnwick. (speaker begins at 7.30pm). Programme of Speakers
