Talk “Postcards-The original Social Medium” Tue 2nd June.

Postcards were an informal means to share good (and bad) family news long before the internet was created. Pat Littlewood shares the history of this important part of family history. Open to all .
Members of the NDFHS, including its Alnwick branch enjoy a range of benefits to help them discover more about their ancestors and hence who they “really are”. This includes access to a wide range of excellent speakers on Family History-related issues and events
All evening meetings are on the FIRST TUESDAY of the month. They begin at 7.15pm with refreshments in Bailiffgate Museum, Alnwick. (speaker begins at 7.30pm). Programme of Speakers
Entry is free to members of the Northumberland and Durham Family History Society www.ndfhs.org.uk . Non-members are always welcome to attend and there is no fixed charge. They will, however be invited to make a donation of £2.50 towards refreshments and room hire costs .
Free refreshments are included in your entry.
