“Lovely to have everything you need in one place.” Swarland Primary School
The Victorian Life box contains an extraordinarily large range of material, reflecting a period of rapid change as branded goods became mass-produced and accessible to a wider section of the population. Nevertheless strong social divisions remained, and the contents also allude to the oppressed lives of domestic servants in the Victorian era.
