Bailiffgate Museum and Gallery offers a diverse and exciting programme ever of exhibitions, talks, courses and workshops. All paid-for events are bookable through this website, and the price includes admission to the Museum. For any help you need please contact us. All talks, courses and workshops take place at the Baliffgate Museum and Gallery include light refreshments in the price unless stated.

Exhibition  Till  3rd September:2018  Batteries Not Included - an exhibition of toys and pastimes through the years . Curriculum-linked for school visits. Lots of hands-on activities for families. Suitable and great fun for all ages from toddlers to the "young in heart".

As well as the large display area on the Gallery floor of the museum, special events with no additional charge include:

         

          Make your Own Toys  Every child can go home with something to keep. Kites, paper              aeroplanes and other toys to construct Sun 8th July

Dinosaur Day   Dressing up, dinosaur skeleton pasta pictures, add your own dinosaur picture to a dinosaur frieze, dig for dinosaur bones, play with dinosaurs in two 'dinoramas', dinosaur puppets and lots more"   Sat 28th July      

Playground Games Come and try some of the games school children would have played in the past. Sat 11th August

Teddy Bear's Picnic Bring your teddy bear along and join in the fun.  Sun 26th August
