Then come to the SPEAK FOR YOURSELF OPEN EVENT ON THURSDAY 28TH SEPTEMBER 7.00 - 8.30PM AT BAILIFFGATE MUSEUM

Do you have memories or stories of life in the area you would like to share? Are there places, events, jobs that are changing that you could record before they are lost? Would you like to come along and see what it’s all about?

The evening will also feature projects from 2017 including Swarland Moor Local Heritage Group and Duke School Old Boy’s memories recorded at an open event before the school closed. Speak For Your Self is a Bailiffgate Museum Oral History project.

We record audio interviews with local residents and collect photographs and documents of past events and places . We will also train and advise volunteers from other groups and loan our equipment for a nominal fee.

All are welcome. Contact us at  Bailiffgate Museum
